Following the will of the donor, Prof. Pavlina Dokovska (Mannes College of Music, USA), Member of the Council of St. Cyril and St. Methodius Foundation, the Foundation

announces a competition for

ONE-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP FOR YOUNG PIANO PLAYER

of 1000 BGN a year (100 BGN per month during the course of the academic year).

The competition is open for piano players studying at the Lybomir Pipkov National School of Music.

The scholarship commemorates Lidia Kuteva (1923-2004) - a prominent name in the Bulgarian piano school, who produced a generation of brilliant Bulgarian piano performers.

The scholarship holder is chosen after a hearing at the Lybomir Pipkov National School of Music. The students to participate a chosen by the Piano Department to the school.

The members of the Committee are invited by the donor.

THE RESULTS ARE PUBLICALY ANNOUNCED.

The scholarship is paid in cash at the Foundation.
